Our organic mango's save 220 grams of soil each, this is the amount of soil that was saved from erosion and wash-out.

The number and duration of droughts has increased by 29% since 2000, with over 2.3 billion people facing water stress, this is already a huge problem (Source:UN).

Desertification is the degradation of land and a consequence of soil erosion, caused primarily by human activities and climatic variations (deforestation, overgrazing and bad irrigation pratices, etc.).

Soil is the foundation of our food system and thus needs to be cared for. Soil benefits arise when farmers invest in their soils using compost or deep rooting green crops, they enhance soil & make soils less susceptible to erosion. Healthy organic soils boost the natural pest and disease resistance of the crop. Healthy organic soils also have a better water holding capacity due to its better structure and higher organic matter content.
