As always, this summer Eosta will be supplying organic Nature & More Citrus / Lemons from South Africa, Peru & Chile. We thought it would be interesting to check in with Citrus Product Manager Robert van Melle.

N&M: What is the latest news Robert?Robert: Apart from our origins South Africa & Chile, we are continuing with our developments in Peru. Last year we received our first containers lemons. This year we expect to scale up a little.

N&M: What are your expectations for the new citrus season?Robert: It is going to be an interesting season, as we are still within corona times: many things are out of the normal. Last year we witnessed a huge demand for citrus. We hope & expected a similar pull for this year.

N&M: What can customers expect from Eosta when it comes to lemons?Robert: Good healthy fruit, coming from reliable suppliers off course. Suppliers with a focus that goes way beyond the traditional way of farming organic.

N&M: Can you tell us something about the sustainability goals of the N&M grower?Robert: That is something we have a continuous focus upon. From each N&M grower we register their progressions on matters like climate, water usage, soil management, biodiversity, individual & society-related issues.

N&M: What about packaging?Robert: All our lemons can be packed according client specific packings. This year we have a special 6-kg Nature & More cartons with a specific track & trace code to our supplier.
